Promoting healthy hair - Ouchless braids

Growing up in West Africa, Liberia, Hair braiding was one of our weekly task assigned by our grandmother. My sister & I had to braid our hair without looking into a mirror & every braid had to be done correctly. If our hair was not braided by dinner, we had to stay in the room until it was done. Due to the discipline of our grandmother, We unknowingly began to master the art of hair braiding. What was previously a chore for us transformed into an unwavering passion! We became consumed with hair and desired to learn about the many different textures of African- American hair. Our studies was rigorous; however, It led us to become two of the best Natural Hair Specialist in North Georgia. In 2008, we took a leap of faith and started our business with only $300 dollars. Whenever you follow your heart's passion, success will indeed follow. We are constantly reminded of the discipline and the words of our grandmother. She always said "every time you braid someone hair, you are sending a picture of yourself out to the world."

We are truly grateful for where our passion has led us & we look forward to serving the women and men of North Georgia.
